| Description | A standard Hydrographic Service bronze tablet stamped BM 1-1960 cemented vertically on the highest part of an only rock outcrop on the SE shore of Gauge Bay on the Melville Peninsula which forms the highest shoreline of the entire bay. The rock outcrop is of bedded structure 76 metres long on the base of which is the high water line. |
