| Description | A standard CHS bronze tablet stamped TS 1-1952 and set in W stone foundation wall, 0.6 m from the SW corner and in the first course of stonework below the brick siding of the former customs bond building (75 Loggie Drive; now Chatham AA Hall). It is about 14 m NE of the Post Office building between the roadway and the railway. 1952: all area North of main St has been built on fill and is subject to settling. Painted over, but appears to be in good condition (2018). |
